Well this was unexpected- TikTok’s ban didn’t end in a whimper in fact they migrated deeper into the Chinese internet. Now being the westerner I am, it was my patriotic duty to plant my flag in places it really really doesn’t belong in the first place. I made an account, and I decided to gauge their “cunniculture”…

There isn’t any cunniculture…

Ok, I need to preface this. There is no cunny culture as we westerners perceive it, because there was no need to have such a culture in the first place. That’s right, anti’s don’t exist in Chinese culture. Loli is soo normalized that to my knowledge it isn’t even tagged! That’s not just me saying this by the way, that’s straight from their incredibly friendly and welcoming mouths.

Have- have I found my people… and yet- why can’t I find them???

That’s right, we are in the EVIL FUCKED UP TIMELINE!!! While loli and even shota are normalized and even embraced by the Chinese community you’d be hard pressed to find it. Now, here are my personal theories as to why this is.

Theory #1: Its soo normalized that looking for loli would be like looking for specifically goth dommy mommys in cartoons. Try to find goth cartoon characters in your feed on Bluesky or Twitter without directly mentioning a specific character, you’re gonna get a whole lot of noise before getting what you want.

Theory #2: They just use a different word for it (duh). Yeah- I mean when we westerners look for loli we don’t look up ロリ, WE SPEAK AMERICAN AND SAY LOLI/CUNNY LIKE OUR FOUNDING FATHERS INTENDED!!! As of yet, I haven’t figured out what their magic word is for loli- The inability to open tags on Rednote posts is really harming my investigation efforts.

Theory #2.1 What is the magic word?

  • 萝莉 Is the phonetic translation of loli- maybe they use the same???
  • They could be using “lolita” 洛丽塔 instead
  • It could be some other word entirely-
  • Update: Its this apparently- loli is 萝莉，shota is 正太

Theory #3: Because it is normalized, there has been no reason for Chinese loli the community to separate itself from the broader anime enjoying community. This means no common group identifier, no common culture, AND NO TAG!!!

Generally, I give this platform a 8/10 for lolicon viability as I have found a niche yet INCREDIBLY hard to find loli/shota community that won’t judge you for posting cute and funny on main. Personally, I saw a Chinese account posting loli… can you guess how the westerners reacted, I’ll give you a spoiler: they assumed the Chinese person was either gross or a pedophile (this was 100% sfw mind you) I think this goes to show the complete contrast in attitudes the Chinese have when it comes to cute and funny. I have yet to see a single person jump to conclusion, hell talk about NSFW loli has been encouraged and liked the original poster on numerous occasion. This isn’t to say this place is 100% approving of lolicon, but its certainly a lot better than tiktok and twitter (which don’t even let you look up loli in the first place)

This isn’t a person trying to open your dms this is just an automatic thing that happens every time you get a follow. So- don’t be like me and try to provide an awkward translation to an obvious American.

This button, this button will show up on videos. This is the tiktok/twitter version of reposting. However, this will not actually show up on your profile, instead it will recommend the video to your followers! Keep this in mind, as following people may change what your feed looks like!

The methodology is as follows. Over the course of 2-3 weeks we will

  • Have several accounts posting different degrees of lewdity
  • Post a handful of loli & shota imagery a day under the appropriate tags
  • Not interact outside of just posting
  • Make explicit that the posts involve a loli/shota

What are the degrees of lewdity?
This is what I will use to trial and error what they consider CSAM. Starting from the most lewd to the least lewd.

  1. Porn (Not doing this, this is a clear cut T&S disapproved action)
  2. Indirect Porn (I.E no visible lewd but there’s clearly lewd happening)
  3. Nudity (Just naked lolis, it’ll pass if its artistic nudity right???)
  4. Lewd Clothing (Think swimsuits. Are beach episodes allowed on bluesky?)
  5. Implied Lewd Context (You’ll see what this means later)
  6. Just talking about lewd lolis (This is gonna be a fun one)
  7. SFW loli (If this gets you banned I think its over for everyone.)

Addendum B: 12/30/24 Third Day

Well, if you bet Megumin would be the first to go COLLECT YOUR WINNINGS NOW because that account is now banned. I should elaborate more on what the end result for this experiment will be. I will be writing a followup article and unlike bluesky T&S, I will provide actual examples of what got each account banned (and give some neat stats on engagement). In future I plan on repeating this experiment with cub art & linking nsfw offsite.

Runa had this image automodded (and nothing else…) I do have to wonder if this is automatically placed liked I assume or if this means a bluesky mod is now looking at this page. If its the ladder, its odd that THIS is the only one out of 9 posts. Ig they don’t like beds???

P.S. Tonight is doomsday. I figured it’d be a good time to put these accounts to the test, that 9 images/posts is enough of a dataset to figure out what bluesky does and does not allow. PREVIOUSLY ON THE FEAR&DELIGHT ANTI CSAM SAGA

After my previous run in with legitimate honest to god child porn online I figured “damn- I’m not doing enough here to combat this stuff.” You see I wont rest until my community and by extension my home is free from child exploitation. I’d rather DRAW someone catching a case, not catch that case myself thank you very much!

As of the time of writing my methodology for rooting out CSAM content has been to manually monitor my @SCL and Kodo Weekly feeds for bad actors. I then do some digging and see if there’s anyone else to add. For those curious my criteria for reporting is the same for adding accounts to the CSAM block-list

I’ve recently noticed however that there’s a bit of a problem with that list- a large chunk of accounts are still there remaining! Now, I could go in and manually re-report these accounts but that’s going to take a long long time. So, I figured I’d do us all a favor and develop a UserScript for everyone to enjoy. Consider it my late Christmas present for you all (because this is gonna be done awhile after Christmas) Right now its very simple and basic, but I aim to add a load of quality of life features that I always find really tedious normally such as reporting people. Here’s a demonstration.

What was that? What just happened? This my friend, is a UserScript! Think of it like a browser extension that has a much lower barrier to entry and allows you to see the code of what you’re running! This particular UserScript aims to be similar to the 4chan x UserScript in that it adds various helpful additions to the website all with a handy menu for customization! I still don’t know what to call it so feel free to suggest names!

My programming skills are admittedly rusty, but hopefully it should work fine enough (given they don’t ever make a major change to layout of the website and break everything)

The current planned features for v1.0 are as follows.

  • Expanding the menus on profiles (I.e pinning buttons to easily add people to lists, and an easily accessible report button)
  • Flagging system for CSAM (see the video: It tries to detect bad actors automatically… but its up to you to not take the flagging system for its word)

Future content that has higher priority because it provides personal utility.

  • Adding users to lists via post.

Future content I might add if I ever get around to it (or pull it off) are as follows.

  • A favorites button & favorites tab (I don’t plan on hosting server infrastructure for this, so the fact you favorite something wont be visible to anyone but you. It will be stored in browser too so don’t clear your browser storage for Blue Sky if you want your faves kept!)
  • Making this baby open source!!! (sorry in advance for my spaghetti code)

    • I am not a pedophile. I do not have attraction to IRL minors.
    • I do not condone people harming children.
    • Yes, the age of consent is perfectly fine where it is currently!

    Now that we got the icks out of the way, here’s the rundown!

    What does this list block?

    Block users that intend to find or distribute CSAM & minors who prostitute themselves online.

    Why does this list exist?
    This list started as a way to manually moderate the Loli, Shota & Kodo weekly feeds. It is combined with a big word filter to get rid of CSAM content invading the #loli & #shota tags. Considering the popularity of not only the list but my account I figure this as a special opprotunity to do genuine good, though I have added responsibility to ensure the list isnt used for evil or to bring harm to innocent people.

    This list operates on an innocent until proven guilty policy.
    I.E if someone just “looks” young I wont add them. I need proof beyond a reasonable doubt that someone is either distributing or obtaining CSAM.

    The Criteria for Being Added:

    The following are some of the factors taken into account when adding to the blocklist…
    (For underage accounts, they must be clearly underage & uploading/seeking out CSAM)

    • Indication of minor status & engagement/uploading of nsfw material irl or otherwise
    • Links advertised publically as child porn
    • Engaging with CSAM (this opperates on the assumption that a person would be able to discern the person is a minor through the single post they interact with alone based on the criteria here.)
    • Account explicitly states intention to take advantage of real children sexually.
    • Account following many sexualized minor accounts

    Not Criteria for Being Added:

    • Just Being A MAP

    No matter your or my own stance on MAPs, merely being a MAP does not equal harm to children. For instance, there are MAPs who don’t wish harm on children or swear off contact with them entirely.

    • ERP only account

    Some accounts will use terms like “pedo mommy” or self-label as a pedo but make it explicit they dont condone irl contact, or irl attraction. I wont go after RP accounts.

    • Semantics issues

    Self describing as an “irl loli” or “irl shota” is not enough by itself. (loli in some circles is a word for a body type, not strictly to do with age.)

    • Simply linking an encrypted messaging service

    While yes it is very suspicious to have a Telegram, Teleguard, Session, or other messaging service linked it does not indicate intent by itself (its not a crime to want privacy)

    • I am personally unsure

    If I am personally unsure of what to make of an account I come across I will not add them to the list. Id rather let someone slip past than add someone who is innocent.

    edit: this section used to be suspected dogwhistles and suspected lingo, but to avoid false positives/witch hunts based on incorrect assumptions I have decided to omit this. (in light of witch-hunts based on misunderstanding such as the recent Zako song misunderstanding I think its best to avoid facilitating the creation of false positives. I dont want someone being harrassed just because someone after reading this saw they have an emoji in their handle and it turns out theyre just a software engineer). Additionally ive decided to do several things to the article.

    1. Omit content that would lead to wrongful assumptions even to innocent accounts listed on the “do not add” criteria.

    2. Refine criteria to be even more even less “vibes” based. Some of the criteria makes assumptions or is frankily redundant.

    3. I removed the site image. I personally havent seen the site pop up in months, so safe to say its gone for good atleast as far as I can tell on bluesky.

    4. I ammended the MAP criteria after some talks with one of their community members (who will stay anonymous). Rest assured, this isnt a “MAPs are immune” clause, but more a “Yeah, just because theyre a MAP shouldnt mark them for immediate ban” clause.

    The TikTok Lolicon Experience

    Welcome to a segment I’m gonna do half out of shits and giggles, and half because well where else am I gonna go??? You tell someone you like cute characters in anime and they’re completely fine with it, but the moment you tell someone you like lolis they instantly call every school in a five mile radius and treat you like you’re the next Jeffrey Epstein! That’s not very cute or funny-

    Trying to find community here is not recommended for the following reasons

    For some reason the loli tags are censored but the shota tags are fair game.
    What did bytedance mean by this???


    There’s a lot of minors here dawg.
    (Yeah yeah yeah I can hear it now from the antis, “pffft the lolicon isn’t cool with minors???”) Idk about you but i don’t feel like getting harassed by a swarm of minors. Plus I’m not into kids 💀

    Discovery is nigh impossible
    Getting your videos found by others is dependent on random luck, and when you do get lucky enough to escape 200 viewers per video tik tok handicaps you to try to coax money out of you with advertising.


    The search is horrible.
    You want to see posts that aren’t from two or three years ago??? You can’t do that on pc. Search gives you Top, Users, Videos, and Live. Guess what- Videos just give you Top but worse. You will rarely get something posted recently. If you want recent posts you need to go on the mobile app, go to videos, and only there will you have the filter options.


    Tiktok tries to share your account with your contacts and connected facebook accounts.
    Soo uhh- unless you want to prove your mom right when she leaves the door open when you hang out with your sister go to settings and turn that off.

    So with all this in mind getting into the community itself is a hassle because of the DREADED ALGORITHM. When you make a tiktok account tiktok will desperately scramble to shove you into a box, and considering the box you’re trying to get here has been burnt to a crisp and shipped to Hong Kong this is easier said than done. So what were going to do is ignore the FYP for now and instead look up variations of the banned loli tags. From there its time to mass follow loli lovers, spam like loli posts, and follow the same people loli lovers follow. I can’t stress this enough, spam interaction. Hell keep a video on loop for a bit so tiktok gets it through its thick skull that you WANT to be here.

    If you really NEED to use the FYP wait a day between checking and IMMEDIATELY stop when you get something unrelated. The FYP is a fickle thing, if you look at a video of a cat for a second tiktok will immediately assume you’re a cat fanatic and undo all your hard earned progress. After enough time your FYP and “find friends” page yield plenty of loli lovers.

    Now I need to address the elephant in the room. Private accounts. I have to admit, i was very curious what would be hiding in a private account, why?? because on tiktok you can set your videos to followers only, which in theory means you could post practically anything so long as you vet your followers. the reality however- is a little odd. 

    Private accounts from my experience have been one of the following.

    • Just users who want a private account
    • People with really dodgy reposts and likes
    • Honest to god pedophiles

    Its genuinely confusing to me, because why not just use a regular account? The pro contact MAPs and other assorted creeps are already out in the open. Side tangent by the by, who the fuck advertises their [insert sketchy ass “encrypted” platform] on tiktok of all places???

    Now, with all of this out if the way lets tell you what to expect from lolicon tiktok…

    It kind sucks

    No seriously, all i find are lolis dancing, generic slideshows where the joke is always “im gonna fuck this loli 😎😎😎”, and tiktok edits of lolis. maybe you’ll find better content in the proship side of tiktok, but from my experience it’s filled with minors (so im not touching that part of tiktok). Besides from what little i’ve seen its 50% defending proship, 50% shipping pairings.

    You’d expect there to be more memes and variation in posts, but i guess when tiktok themselves heavily suppress loli/proship there isn’t much innovation. After all, a core feature of tiktok is the user generated audio and using them to make new variations of the same content. On art tiktok specifically if you aren’t grinding out challenge content you are left in the dust. i believe this is the reason for tiktoks subdued and stagnant lolicon community. unable to interact with the wider community due to tiktoks restrictions and rabid harassment from minor antis lead to a very isolated community.

    There isn’t much room for growth in an isolated community.
